The Yuzu is a cold-hardy citrus tree prized for its highly aromatic fruit. The fruit is about the size of a tangerine, with yellow to yellow-green skin and a unique flavor that combines lemon, grapefruit, 

 

Care Tips

  • Light: Full sun (6–8+ hours daily).
  • Water: Water when the top few inches of soil are dry. Avoid constantly wet soil.
  • Soil: Well-draining citrus mix.
  • Temperature: One of the most cold-tolerant citrus trees; established trees can handle temperatures below freezing better than most citrus.
  • Fertilizer: Feed with a citrus fertilizer during spring and summer.
  • Humidity: Moderate humidity is fine, but good air circulation is important.

Fruit Uses

  • Juice for sauces, drinks, and desserts.
  • Zest for cooking and baking.
  • Popular in Japanese cuisine, especially ponzu sauce.


Shipping: This plant will be shipped in soil. It will be wrapped in double lined foil insulation during winter months. Orders are sent by FedEx. We do not ship to PO Boxes. If you are interested in multiple plants please message our shop for combined shipping pricing. Etsy is not always accurate with calculating shipping.

Orders are collected throughout the week, packed for shipping on Sunday and shipped out Monday & Tuesday for the following weeks' orders.

Return Policy
Our shop strives our best to hand select the healthiest plants for all of our customers. We understand plants are delicate and damage may occur however we do not offer any refunds. In the cause of an issue the buyer and shop can discuss either a replacement plant or shop credit to use on a future purchase. The buyer must return the damaged item in order to receive either the replacement or shop credit.

** Purchases made during the winter season is at the risk of the buyer. We do everything we can with due diligence to ensure its warm and safe arrival but we do not offer refunds for cold damaged plants as it is out of our control. *
