Rhipsalis Mouse Tail 6 “ pot

 The Mouse Tail Cactus (Rhipsalis baccifera subsp. horrida) is a specialized epiphytic cactus known for its trailing, slender stems that mimic the appearance of a mouse's tail. Unlike desert cacti, it originates from the rainforests of Madagascar and parts of Central and South America, frequently growing on tree trunks and branches. The stems of this cactus are lime-green and covered in tiny, soft white bristles or spines, with the capacity to grow up to 3 feet (1 metre) in length, making it well-suited for hanging baskets.

• Light: Prefers bright, indirect light. Harsh midday sun can scorch the stems, while deep shade may limit growth.
• Watering: As a "jungle cactus," it likes more humidity than desert types. Water when the top 1-2 inches of soil are dry, but ensure it never sits in soggy soil, which can cause root rot.
• Soil: Requires a well-draining, slightly acidic mix (e.g., two parts peat moss, one part sand, and bark chips).
• Temperature: Best kept in room temperatures above 10°C (50°F); it is not frost-tolerant. 

📦 Shipping: This plant will be shipped in soil. Orders are sent by FedEx and UPS. We do not ship to PO Boxes. 

Orders are collected throughout the week, packed for shipping on Sunday and shipped out Monday & Tuesday for the following weeks' orders.

Our shop strives our best to hand select the healthiest plants for all of our customers. We understand plants are delicate and damage may occur however we do not offer any refunds. In the case of an issue the buyer and shop can discuss either a replacement plant or shop credit to use on a future purchase. The buyer must return the damaged item in order to receive either the replacement or shop credit.
