Hoya Patella White large vine

Hoya patella ‘White’ is a rare and highly collectible hoya from Papua New Guinea. It’s loved for its unusual waxy white flowers with a deep red or magenta center. The blooms are often single or only a few flowers at a time instead of large clusters like many hoyas.  

Care tips:

• Bright indirect light
• Warm temperatures and higher humidity help it grow faster
• Let the potting mix dry slightly between watering
• Use chunky airy soil (orchid bark + perlite + coco chips works well)
• Avoid overwatering — it dislikes soggy roots
• Can be slow-growing compared to other hoyas

• humidity around 60%+
• warm conditions year-round  

The flowers are often described as:

• porcelain-like
• cup-shaped
• lightly fragrant or almost scentless
