Please note sometime that the plant you receive may differ from the one pictured here. Our inventory consists of 30-50 plants, and we cannot showcase each individual plant online. Plants vary in shape and size; we will select the largest and highest-quality one for you first.
The Million Hearts plant is distinguished by its attractive, trailing and vining growth pattern. Notable features include small green heart-shaped leaves set against delicate green stems.
Care
Light
Million Hearts prefers bright indirect light. Brighter light will result in better color of the foliage but avoid direct sun which may burn the foliage.
Water
The leaves of Million Hearts are small and succulent, and it will tolerate minimum levels of watering. We recommend allowing the soil to nearly completely dry out between waterings. The number one sign of underwatering is drooping, wilted leaves. You can tell if you are overwatering by the leaves yellowing and falling off. Overwatering may eventually lead to root rot.
Care
Million Hearts are epiphytic vines, meaning that they grow on the branches of trees in nature. The roots of epiphytes typically need very well-draining soil to prevent root rot. This plant should be fertilized monthly through the spring and summer with a diluted general houseplant fertilizer. Cuttings can be rooted in water or soil.
