Trias intermedia, reclassified as Bulbophyllum meson, is a rare, fascinating miniature epiphytic orchid endemic to Thailand's humid forest regions, prized by collectors for its tiny pseudobulbs and intricate, uniquely shaped flowers.
care guide
Provide low to medium, filtered indirect light. This species naturally grows under dense tropical forest canopies. Harsh, direct sunlight will rapidly scorch or yellow its tiny leaves. [1]
🌡️ Temperature
It prefers intermediate to warm conditions, ideally keeping temperatures between 15°C and 31°C (58°F to 88°F). It does not require a strict winter rest period, though growth will naturally slow down during cooler, darker months. [1, 2, 3]
💧 Water & Humidity
Maintain high humidity (60–80%) at all times to prevent the tiny pseudobulbs from shrivelling. The root zone should stay consistently moist but never waterlogged. In warm weather, this typically requires daily or every-other-day misting. [1, 2]
